Posts are for current events/news/in the now. WordPress posts are more powerful in search results than web pages at first, however decay with time. Eg in two years time no one will search for Sam Kerr’s ACL injury that hit the news in 2023. Posts can be suited to dynamic content such as changes in house prices. Blogging posts is similar to posting on social media sites.
WordPress Web Pages
Web pages are for words/phrases that you want permanently to perform in search engines. For example your contact PAGE should perform for words like contact, phone number, online form etc, never ending, not just for a moment in time.
